Celebrate You And Your Fiancé's Upcoming Trip To Italy With An Italian-Themed Party

Virginia Caballero

If you will be celebrating the fact that you and your fiancé will be traveling to Italy this summer and would like to host a party for your family and friends in honor of the occasion, the following tips will help the get together be one that is memorable and enjoyable for you, your partner, and all the guests who attend.

Catered Meal

Hire an Italian restaurant to cater the event that you are holding. Reserve a private room in the restaurant that will be large enough for people to mingle with each other and enjoy their meal without feeling crowded. Choose some popular Italian dishes, such as pasta and meatballs, porchetta, risotto, and pizza to serve to each attendee.

A catering crew can also prepare popular Italian appetizers, desserts, salads, and beverages. If preferred, request that the caterers set up a buffet table with large servings of each item so that your guests can test out each one and consume as much as they would like.

Italian-Themed Decorations

Purchase a poster of some popular Italian destinations that you and your partner plan on visiting and hang them on the walls of the room where the party is being held. Cover the tables where guests will be sitting with tablecloths that contain red, green, and white, which are the colors of the Italian flag. Hang up paper lanterns that contain the same colors or use standard lighting that has a colored light bulb installed in each of them that depict one of the Italian colors so that the room has a festive appearance.

Hired Disc Jockey And Dance Floor

Research some popular Italian songs before the party and request that the disc jockey that you hire plays the ones that you prefer throughout the event. Learn some dance moves that are popular in Italy with your fiancé prior to the celebration by signing up for lessons at a dance studio. Show off the moves that both of you learned on a portable dance floor that is set up in an empty portion of the room where the party is being held. and teach your friends the dances if they are interested in them.

The party will be interesting and will encourage you, your fiancé, and your guests to appreciate Italian themes. It will also help everyone publicly acknowledge the fact that you and your significant other will be fortunate to travel to an interesting country in the near future.

I started carefully evaluating every aspect of my restaurant, and before I knew it, I found little changes that made a big difference. This blog is all about making your restaurant a little bit better--one change at a time. You never know, the changed you make today might become the profits that you will make tomorrow.
